Forbes Magazine has come out with a series of covers that features five celebrities. The stars are chosen after they made it to the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list. Vicky Kaushal, Kamal Haasan, Taapsee Pannu, Sajid Nadiadwala and cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur feature on the magazine cover.
The Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list has Virat Kohli, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kangana Ranaut, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Mithali Raj amongst others. However, the magazine chose Vicky, Haasan, Taapsee, Nadiadwala and Harmanpreet to feature on the covers.
Vicky had three theatrical releases and two on Netflix in 2018 that saw him emerge as a powerhouse of acting. After bagging the National Award for Best Actor for URI: The Surgical Strike the actor has one lucrative project after another in his kitty. He will be next seen playing the role of Sam Manekshaw, India's legendary Field Marshal, in addition to playing Udham Singh, the revolutionary who killed Michael O' Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He will also be seen in Karan Johar's Takht and Awasthama helmed by URI director Aditya Dhar. Kaushal was also India's most searched film actor in 2019, according to Google. Haasan was chosen as he completed six decades in films as an actor, director, producer, singer and a choreographer. He has also joined politics and tasted the first electoral success as well.
Taapsee Pannu who was on a roll in 2019 with back-to-back releases and powerhouse performances in four hits this year also made it to the list at the rank 68. She also has many thrilling films in the pipeline that will release in 2020 including the biopic on cricketer Mithali Raj, a social drama titled Thappad and an espionage thriller in Tamil with Jayam Ravi.

Cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur became the first woman cricketer to hit a T20 century and the first Indian cricketer to be signed by an overseas T20 franchise—Sydney Thunder in 2016—Harmanpreet Kaur was named the captain of the ICC's T20 team of the year in 2018. In October this year, she became the first Indian cricketer to play 100 T20 internationals, when she took the field against South Africa.
Nadiadwala was chosen for the numerous hit films that his production company Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment produced this year.
