Watch: Here are the three things that Amitabh Bachchan advised Rajinikanth to do in his 60s

The much-anticipated trailer of Rajinikanth, Suniel Shetty and Nayanthara starrer Darbar was released today amidst much fanfare. The film sees Rajinikanth play a cop onscreen after twenty five years. In his own words, he is a ‘bad cop’ who is a criminal. During the media interaction that followed the trailer launch, Rajinikanth revealed that megastar Amitabh Bachchan is his inspiration and also revealed the three things he told the former to do in his 60s.

Rajinikanth revealed that Big B gave very sage advice to him on how to tackle the 60s. He said, “Amitabh Bachchan gave me three advice. He said first ‘Don’t miss exercise’, second ‘Be busy, get out of the house’ and third ‘Don’t enter politics’. I follow the first two but I did not take heed the third one.” Watch the video here:

Rajinikanth and Big B have shared screen space in quite a few films like Asli Naqli, Hum etc. They have always maintained that they revere each other.

Darbar also stars Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriram, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah and Dalip Tahil in pivotal roles. It is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. The film is slated to release on Makar Sankranti 2020.
