Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her cousin Parineeti Chopra are the most sought after sibling duos in Bollywood. While their fans have been requesting them to collaborate for a film for quite some time now, it seems their desire is about to fulfill. But there is a twist. The Chopra sisters, not for a Hindi feature film, but are ready to team up for Frozen 2. The actresses will lend their vocals to the Hindi version of the popular animated film Frozen's sequel. Priyanka will be the voice behind Elsa, a Princess of the kingdom Arendelle, who has the curse of freezing any object with a mere touch. Parineeti will lend her vocals to Anna, the younger sister of Elsa, who sets out on adventures with her sister and is her constant support. Priyanka, on Friday, announced Parineeti's and her participation in Frozen 2 and expressed her excitement.
Better known by their nick names, Mimi and Tisha, Priyanka couldn't hold back her excitement and said she can't wait to put forth the story of amazing and string characters like Elsa and Anna through vocals. "Mimi and Tisha are now Elsa and Anna! The #ChopraSisters are finally coming together for Disney’s Frozen 2. Can’t wait for you guys to see us… I mean HEAR us bring these amazing, strong characters to life in Hindi. #Frozen2 in theatres on 22nd November 2019," Priyanka wrote.
The original English version of Frozen 2 has vocals of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana, Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown for important characters. The film is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. Frozen 2 will release on November 22, 2019.
