Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is gung-hot about the fact that she has dubbed for Angelina Jolie in the Hindi version of Disney’s film Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. During the trailer launch of the film today, Aishwarya spoke about her experience of dubbing for the first time for someone else and whether she has ever met Angelina in real life.
At the event, when Aishwarya was asked if she has ever met Angelina Jolie, she said, "I missed meeting her in South Africa when she attended IIFA Awards and presented the award to me with Shah Rukh Khan for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Then we fleetingly met at Cannes when she was promoting Kung Fu Panda. So no long-drawn conversation to talk about here, whatsoever.”

Speaking of dubbing for a film for the first time, Aishwarya said, "This is the first time when I am not playing the character but dubbing for some other artist. I actually got into it completely, that's another reason I did it."
