Producer Dinesh Vijan, founder of Maddock Films is all geared up for the release of two of his much-awaited films Angrezi Medium and RoohiAfza coming up next year and announced the release date of the films today. Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead would be releasing on March 20, 2020. The film directed by Homi Adajania wrapped up recently in July.
On the other hand, RoohiAfza starring Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma would be hitting the theatres on April 17, 2020. Previously, RoohiAfza was slated to release on March 20, 2020, but has now given its slot to Irrfan's film. The film wrapped up recently as well and is directed by Hardik Mehta. RoohiAfza is a horror-comedy that will see Janhvi in a double role for the first time. After last year’s hit Stree, Rajkummar and Dinesh have teamed up once again for a horror-comedy.

Angrezi Medium is a sequel to Irrfan’s and Saba Qamar’s 2017 film Hindi Medium that turned out to be a major sleeper hit of the year at the box office. The film also marks the return of Irrfan after he went for treatment to London for neuroendocrine tumour. Angrezi Medium will also feature Pankaj Tripathi. Irfan was last seen in Kaarwan that also starred Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles. The film failed to ignite the box office.
