‘My wedding is going to be really traditional and will happen in Tirupati’, says Janhvi Kapoor on her idea of a perfect wedding

Janhvi Kapoor impressed one and all with her debut performance in last year’s film Dhadak. She has an array of interesting and lucrative projects at hand and is in no hurry to tie the knot. However, like almost every other girl in the world, she damn well knows what she wants for her wedding. In an interview with a leading lifestyle and fashion magazine, she opened up about her wedding plans and her idea of a perfect wedding.

Janhvi is the cover girl for the month of September for the magazine and in the interview, she revealed her perfect wedding plans and said, “I want something that’s real and intimate and close to who I am. I don’t need anything big and fancy. I already know my wedding is going to be really traditional and happen in Tirupati. I’m going to wear a Kanjeevaram zari sari and there’s going to be a full daawat after the wedding with all the South Indian food that I love - idli, sambhar, curd rice, and kheer."

On the work front, Janhvi has a plethora of projects in hand. She will be playing the role of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in her biopic The Kargil Girl. The first look of the film was recently released. Pankaj Tripathi also stars in the film.
