Priyanka Chopra and her mother Madhu Chopra recently attended the US Open on Tuesday and witnessed "legend" Serena Williams score her record-making 100th US Open win. The actress could not contain her excitement on Serena Williams' win over Wang Qiang and she shared a picture of yesterday's match, in one of which she adorably poses with her mother at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. In the second picture, she cheered for Serena with a photo of the stadium screen that read: "Serena Williams, 100th US Open Win".
Priyanka captioned the post as, "Amazing to watch Serena Williams at her 100th US Open win! Legend! Also always a fun time with this girl - Madhu Chopra."
PeeCee's husband Nick Jonas, who is currently busy with the ongoing Happiness Begins tour, gave the match a miss. However, last year, it was a family affair as Priyanka enjoyed the US Open not only with Madhu and Nick but also with Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas.
Work wise, Priyanka will next be seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink apart from two Netflix projects - We Can Be Heroes and the film adaptation of The White Tiger, in which she co-stars with Rajkummar Rao.
