Parineeti Chopra, who is all set to shoot for the official remake of the acclaimed Hollywood hit The Girl on the Train in England, now has a co-star. The actress who will reprise the hugely acclaimed role of the protagonist essayed by top Hollywood actress Emily Blunt in the original will be joined by Bollywood actor Avinash Tiwary for the film.
The film will have actor Avinash playing the leading role in the film opposite Parineeti. Avinash had made his debut last year in Laila Majnu. The film is going to be shot entirely in the UK and the makers are planning to take the movie on the floors in August second week. Pari will wrap up the film by September this year and then begin filming for her next, the Sania Nehwal biopic, from October end.
The film is going to be directed by Ribu Dasgupta who last directed TE3N (2016) and currently also directed majority of the episodes for the Netflix Original show Bard Of Blood. Based on the 2015 bestseller by Paula Hawkins, the film narrates the story of a divorced woman who gets entangled in a shocking missing person’s investigation that throws her life to the brink.
