Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh made his commentary debut alongside cricket stars Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Known for his passion for cricket, Ranveer entertained fans with a segment, where he interacted with cricket stars such as Gavaskar, Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Brian Lara and Ramiz Raja. While his unique outfit grabbed eyeballs during the India-Pakistan match, the hug that actor shared with India skipper Virat Kohli after the team won, was certainly the highlight of his stint.
Interestingly, his close friend and actor, Arjun Kapoor, could not help but comment on a video posted by Ranveer, where he is seen cheering for India. Terming him as the 'fashion mafiaso', Arjun wrote, “Baba u were the best player off the pitch... what a playa !!! The fashion mafioso the cricket gangster the nuanced celebrator the power hitter !!! #subtltythynameranveersingh.” Seeing the praise Arjun showered on him, Ranveer replied by writing, “hahahahahahahahah @arjunkapoor baba please yaar.”
Well, Ranveer and Arjun always leave the netizens impressed with their camaraderie.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer is currently tied up with Kabir Khan's '83, a film based on India's historic victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
