Katrina Kaif recently spoke about why she always denied her past relationships with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. The actress who dated Salman and then Ranbir said that she has not been "entirely honest" about her relationship status.
In an interview with a leading magazine, Katrina was asked why she always called herself single even when she was dating Salman and Ranbir. To this, the actress replied, "We all make mistakes and I may not have been entirely honest. And my punishment is that when I'm telling the truth, no one believes me. I am single."
When prodded that she has always been in denial, Katrina said, "Earlier, I had said, until I get married, I'm single. I still stand by that. If you have a boyfriend, you're not single. If you're in a serious relationship, then you're not single. I am single."
When asked more about being friends with her exes, Katrina said, "You have to respect anyone, who has been in your life in the past. You've shared something with that person and you respect that. Also, holding onto past bitterness weighs you down."
On the work front, the actress is awaiting the big release of her next film with Salman - Bharat.
