Watch: Salman Khan says he is not Katrina Kaif’s ‘Bhaijaan’ but wants her to call him ‘Meri Jaan’

Salman Khan’s and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming film Bharat is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Its trailer has already made quite a noise amongst the audience and people are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Today, the lead stars came together to launch a brand new song Zinda from the film. At the launch event, Salman was at his playful best and pulled Katrina’s leg several times. It was proved when Salman fooled around with Katrina over his ‘Bhaijaan’ tag as well as made the mediapersons laugh out loud with his remark.

During the media interaction, when a reporter was asking Katrina questions about her character and referred to Salman as ‘Bhaijaan’, Kat did not respond to it but Salman was quick to point and say , “Paaji, inke liye bhaijaan nahi hu mai (I am not Bhaijaan for Katrina)." His remark made everyone laugh out loud but before Katrina could say anything, Salman quickly added, “Kya bharosa, bhaijaan bhi bula sakti hai (Can't say, she might just call me bhaijaan)." However, it was his next remark that left everyone flabbergasted. When a reporter asked Katrina what would she like to call Salman since 'Bhaijaan' is out of the picture, the actor said, “Meri Jaan.”

Salman and Katrina were in a romantic relationship for several years, and after their break-up, Katrina went on to date Ranbir Kapoor. However, the two have always shared a warm and amicable friendship and have starred in a number of hits films together. Bharat is scheduled to release on June 5.
