If Katrina Kaif gets a National Award it will be for Bharat: Salman Khan

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the most popular and well-loved on-screen jodis of Bollywood. Keeping their past intimate relationship aside, the two shares a great bond with each other that resonates on screen in crackling chemistry. Salman and Katrina are once again reuniting in their upcoming film Bharat. Today, at the launch of the song Zinda from the film, Salman showered praise on Katrina and went on to say that she will bag a National Award for the film

 Salman and Katrina were both present at the song launch and the former was at his wittiest and goofiest best. Katrina who has been getting accolades for her dialogue delivery and screen presence in Bharat’s trailer was also applauded by Salman. During the event when the actor was asked about his reaction to Bharat, he showered praise on Katrina and said, “She (Katrina) is very good in the movie, and I am sure she’ll get a National Award for this.”

Bharat is inspired by the Korean film Ode To My Father and is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film has an ensemble cast and also features Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Aasif Sheikh and Sunil Grover. Bharat is all set to release on Eid, on June 5.
