Yes, it’s true that the universe is still obsessing over Deepika Padukone’s MET Gala 2019 outfit but seems like it was slightly difficult for her to manage it as she tripped on her dress while sipping on to a glass of wine at the lobby of a hotel. A video of the moment has been made available online by leading international magazine Vogue and is doing the rounds of social media.
The video features Deepika sipping wine from her goblet while her stylists help her proceed, and she soon after, trips slightly but manages by holding on to the wall beside her.

In her metallic pink Zac Posen gown, Deepika looked ethereal at the MET Gala as she posed during the photo-op on the red carpet. Deepika’s pink lurex jacquard gown was embellished with 3D printed pieces meant to resemble embroidery. She enhanced her look with a voluminous high ponytail adding a little sparkle with the bejewelled pink hair band, dramatic burgundy lips and purple eye make-up. A pair of diamond earrings and a statement cuff accessorized her attire.

This was Deepika's third outing at the event. She made her debut at the gala in 2017 in a simple white slip-dress by Tommy Hilfiger. Last year, the actress wore an elegant red Prabal Gurung gown with red heels.
Workwise, Deepika Padukone is currently filming Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, scheduled for release in January 2020.
