IT officials raid Maharshi producer Dil Raju’s office; will it affect the release of Mahesh Babu’s film?

Actor Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Maharshi has mired itself in a controversy a day ahead of its release as Income Tax officials raided producer Dil Raju’s office in Hyderbad, a leading website reports.  The raid has caused enough worry for the producers as it may affect the release of the film that has been postponed several times in the past.

Although several quarters are of the opinion that the IT raid may affect Maharshi’s release on May 9, makers of the film have not responded yet. The report also states that makers of Maharshi were allowed to increase the rate of tickets ahead of its release  - rumours are rife that tickets are being sold at Rs 200 instead of Rs 50 – the apparent correct price.
