The second song from Bharat, titled Chashni, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has been released and it is as sweet as its name. Set in 1974, Salman announces before the song begins that India got its first superstar Rajesh Khanna in the particular year but he is old school – a fan of Dilip Kumar and he found his Saira Banu in his Madam Sir, played by Katrina.
In Chashni, Katrina appears in a beautiful pink saree in a particular sequence, gorging on jalebis while Salman, handsome in a white kurta and pyjama stands still, watching her. Salman and Katrina also romance across the desert, while she looks stunning in lehenga cholis.

Chashni has been composed by Vishal & Shekhar while Abhijeet Srivastava has provided vocals to the song. Irshad Kamil has written the lyrics. Vaibhavi Merchant has choreographed the song.
Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. Co-starring Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Nora Fatehi, Bharat is scheduled to release on Eid.
