Kareena Kapoor Khan has postponed her schedule of filming Angrezi Medium to June, a leading website reports, adding that she wants to spend time with son Taimur before commencing shoot. The 38-year-old actress was supposed to begin shooting for Angrezi Medium in May in London but will now begin a month later.
Sources told the website that Taimur’s playschool will shut by May for summer holidays and during that period, Kareena wants to stay at home in Mumbai and spend time with him. In fact, Taimur might accompany Kareena to London for the shoot in June.
Angrezi Medium stars Irrfan in the lead role and is the second installment of his 2017 film Hindi Medium. After weeks of speculation surrounding Kareena’s role in the film, producer Dinesh Vijan confirmed her character in Angrezi Medium earlier this week and said that she has been cast as a cop in it.

"Kareena is a great addition to our franchise. Angrezi Medium is a very special film, and I'm excited that she's going to be a part of it. We wanted to introduce this character who would be taken forward in the franchises to come, and she's perfect for it. Here, she plays a cop -- a role she's actually never done before. We will be shooting in London this June, and it will be great to be back on set with her," Dinesh Vijan said in a statement.
Angrezi Medium is being directed by Homi Adajania and also co-stars Radhika Madan.
