Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone are making waves in Hollywood currently. Priyanka is the toast-of-the-town with numerous projects, chat show appearances and her own show. Even Deepika is not far behind but before both these leading ladies made their foray into Hollywood it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who became a household name in the global film circuit. Now, according to reports the diva is once again set to work in a Hollywood film.
According to an entertainment website the actress has shown interest in a Hollywood project and will soon sign on the dotted line. A source close to the film’s development told the website, “Aishwarya has expressed interest in this Hollywood project. Paper work is in process. Hopefully, if things go well, an announcement is expected by the year-end."
Aishwarya has worked in several Hollywood films like Bride and Prejudice, The Mistress of Spices, The Pink Panther 2, The Last Legion and Provoked. This upcoming film will be her sixth project. However, like Priyanka, Aishwarya does not want to make Hollywood her base.
In an earlier interview, she had said, “I was very clear about that. Also because I enjoy Indian cinema I have had such wonderful directors to work with I couldn't get myself to do that. That’s because it is just a different rhythm I know I can imagine some of our talent working there and experiencing it it is exciting. It is wonderful to be part of cinema irrespective of which language or part of the world it is getting made in. It is just a different rhythm with which we worked in India and overseas". Aishwarya was last seen onscreen in Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan.
