Ranveer Singh’s upcoming sports drama ’83 that is based on India’s first World Cup win has finally got its release date in place. The film will release one year from now, that is on April 10, 2020. Ranveer is essaying the role of Kapil Dev who captained the side and is currently prepping up for his roles with his fellow actors in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
Ranveer shared a photo with his fellow actors on social media that had the caption, “1 year to ‘83”. He tagged actors Saqib Saleem, Adinath Kothare, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, Jatin Sarna, Jiiva, Dinker Sharma, Dhairya Karwa, Nishant Dahhiya, Sahil Khattar and R Badree.

’83 is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Vishnu Induri, Kabir and Madhu Mantena. Currently, the team is undergoing training with veteran cricketers Yashpal Sharma, Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath and Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
