Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda wrote heartfelt posts for their mother Jaya Bachchan on her birthday April 9 on Instagram. “! The word says it all. Happy Birthday Ma. Love you,” Abhishek wrote along with an old photograph of his mother, pretty in a salwar suit and a bindi. Abhishek and Shweta are Jaya’s children with her husband, actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Shweta, meanwhile, shared a delightful picture with her mother – she is glamorous in a black saree while Jaya looked elegant in white. “O Captain My Captain,” reads Shweta’s post on Instagram along with a birthday cake emoticon.
Jaya Bachchan is the star of films Mili, Guddi, Abhimaan, Silsila, Sholay, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Naa Ho.
She married Amitabh Bachchan in 1973 – Shweta was born a year later while Abhishek was born in 1976.
