Karan Johar and his mom Hiroo Johar unveil his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Singapore

Filmmaker Karan Johar unveiled his wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in Singapore on April 3 with his mother Hiroo Johar. At the museum, Karan and his mom posed for pictures with his wax statue while the unveiling was live streamed from Sentosa.

While Karan wore a white suit, Hiroo Johar was pretty in a pink salwar suit. Karan’s statue has been created in his selfie pose, dressed up in black attire and a printed jacket.

Apart from unveiling his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Karan also launched a new experience zone – an 'ultimate film star' experience, a 2,500 square meters new zone celebrating Indian cinema. It will utilise interactive technology like AR, Kinect, Hologram and physical special effects giving visitors the chance to dance and act their way into the hall of fame alongside noted Indian celebrities.

Karan Johar is a celebrated filmmaker and has directed films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan.
