Abhishek Varman’s period drama Kalank’s trailer was unveiled today at an event. The star cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt were present during the launch. Kalank is produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala and was conceptualized fifteen years ago by KJo. The film’s trailer has already created quite a stir with its complicated characters and the dynamics of their strained relationships.
Talking about Kalank’s story, Varun said during the trailer launch, “Kalank celebrates the power of love, and jab aapko pyar ki shakti milti hai toh koi bhi obstacle aap overcome kar sakte hain.” In fact, even Madhuri had something similar to say about the film’s story. She said, “What Varun said was very true that love conquers all. Pyaar har kalank ko Mita deta hai.”

The film’s title track also is penned keeping this thought in mind that love conquers all and the emotion makes the world go around. Kalank is slated to release on April 17.
