Ranveer Singh set the atmosphere on fire as he launched the music album of his upcoming film Gully Boy at an event in Mumbai on Thursday and did what not in complete enthusiasm – rapped, danced and also dived into the cheering crowd but appears that in doing so, actually ended up having a grand fall. We got to know that Ranveer had an epic fall during his ‘crowd act’ as he posted short clips of folks witnessing a similar fate, superimposed with his stunt, on his Instagram stories. For example, popular video game characters ending up in a fall while another meme featuring a man, who fails while attempting the stunt as well, were spotted on Ranveer’s Instagram stories.

Apart from Ranveer, his Gully Boy co-stars Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin, director Zoya Akhtar and around 15 rappers also performed on stage during the event. Gully Boy stars Ranveer as a street rapper from Mumbai and his character is inspired by the life of rapper Divine. Alia stars as a medical student and Ranveer’s love interest in Gully Boy while Kalki Koechlin appears as an influential musician. Gully Boy will release on February 14.
