Alia Bhatt is over the moon about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and described him as a “gem” while speaking to a leading entertainment magazine during an exclusive interview. Asked to address Ranbir’s personality, Alia told the magazine, “He’s not difficult. He’s a gem.” Ranbir and Alia, co-stars of their upcoming film Brahmastra, are dating since 2018.
During her interview, Alia said that with Ranbir, it’s not a relationship but friendship, and it’s beautiful as she couldn’t be happier. “It’s not a relationship. It’s a friendship. I’m saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It’s beautiful. I’m walking on stars and clouds right now,” Alia added.

Workwise, Alia as well as Ranbir are also managing hectic schedules and as a result of it, she said that she will not be seen with him “constantly” but that is precisely what she defined as the “true mark” of a comfortable relationship.
“The best part is that we’re two individuals, who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now. He’s shooting continuously. So am I. It's not a situation where you'll see us constantly together. That's the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage. In fact, there’s a beautiful book titled My Brilliant Friend. Ranbir’s my brilliant friend,” Alia said.

Rumours of Ranbir’s and Alia’s relationship surfaced in 2018 after both were spotted together quite often – at film screenings and events. In May last year, Ranbir confirmed his relationship with Alia while speaking to a leading magazine.
Brahmastra, meanwhile, is scheduled to release on Christmas.
