Kesari: Akshay Kumar shares new dialogue promo that induces goosebumps and instills courage

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Kesari brings to celluloid one of India’s most heroic battles-The Battle of Saragarhi, where a troop of mere 21 Sikh soldiers tried to defend an army post which was attacked by Pashtun tribesmen of Orakzai and Afridi tribes. Kesari has already generated a lot of buzz with its larger-than-life heroic tale but now Akshay has released a goosebumps-inducing dialogue promo from the film.

The actor who plays Havildar Ishar Singh, announced for the audience to book advance tickets for the film and shared a glimpse from the film with a dialogue promo and scenes from the impending battle that the film will depict. In the scene, Akshay can be seen saying, “Jeet to hum tabhi gaye the, jab humne ladne ka faisla kiya tha.” Watch the dialogue promo below.

Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra and is being co-produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions and Sunir Kheterpal. The film is directed by Anurag Singh. The film is slated to release on March 21.

The Battle of Saragarhi was fought between the Sikh soldiers who were a part of the British Indian Army against the Afghan invaders on September 12, 1897. The battle was fought at the North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).
