The director of the film Ayan Mukerji gave us an interesting update regarding the film via his Instagram account. He shared a post informing that Ranbir's character was named Rumi and not Shiva.

Ayan, who stayed aloof from social media, joined Instagram on the occasion of Mahashivratri (March 4) as the team headed to Prayagraj to launch the logo and title of the film at the Kumbh Mela 2019. With his Instagram handle, Ayan is taking us down the memory lane of Brahmastra's pre-filming stages and we are so excited to see the magic unravel on the big screen.

However, we got a small glimpse of the spectacle we can expect from Brahmastra at the logo launch where 150 drones carrying lights were high up in the sky and formed the Indian flag followed by the logo and the title. At the Kumbh Mela itself, Ranbir's and Alia's characters named Shiva and Isha respectively was disclosed.

Brahmastra, produced by Karan Johar under the banner Dharma produced, also featuring Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles is set to arrive on the big screen this December.
