It was a few days back that Kangana Ranaut slammed Bollywood actors, including the likes of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, for not taking a stance for the country or not participating in political conversations. She blasted Ranbir brutally by calling him selfish and urging him to think about his country as his home.
Now during a recent media interaction, Alia, who as we all know is dating Ranbir, was asked about Kangana’s statements regarding the Bollywood personalities. To which, she said, "Listen, I definitely don't have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really really respect her for that. And may be in a way she is right that sometimes we do hold back. Kyunki hum nahi chahte ke, khamakha kyun bolna... My dad always says that there are already so many opinions in the world that the world could do with one less opinion. So, I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. But kudos to her because she genuinely speaks really well."

Well, we certainly applaud Alia for responding with such a classy comeback.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Alia had to respond to Kangana’s allegations, Earlier too, the Manikarnika actress had called Alia as Karan Johar’s puppet. At that point, Alia replied by saying that she doesn’t wish to give any explanation over the comments and insisted that she hadn’t done anything to deserve such harsh words.
On the work front, Alia will next be seen in Kalank apart from starring in Brahmastra and Takht.
