The pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani's and Nita Ambani’s elder son Akash Ambani seem never-ending. Akash is all set to get married to his childhood friend Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta. After the 3-day Winter Wonderland extravaganza at Badrutt Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, Switzerland, celebrations kicked off in Mumbai with the ever-so-popular Harry Potter themed party. The party had all the magical elements in place including floating candles in the air reminiscent of the Great Hall as well as the Scarlet Train at Platform 9 ¾ and with Guru Randhawa's magical performance.
The inside pictures and videos of the party prove that it was one rocking affair. After getting the Coldplay to perform in Switzerland, the Harry Potter-themed party was rocked by Guru Randhawa. He set the stage on fire with some fiery performances and sang some of his popular songs like Suit Suit Karda, Lahore and so on. Akash’s and Shloka’s wedding will be held at Jio World Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony will be followed by Mangal Parv celebration and reception. Before the wedding on March 9, the families of the bride and groom are also hosting a ‘Mala and Mehendi’ function on March 7. If the pre-wedding functions are so spectacular we can’t wait for the extravagance and opulence to unfold on the wedding day.
