Virat’s name was ‘Rahul’: Anushka Sharma reveals she and her husband used fake names to keep their wedding a secret

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took the world by surprise when they got married on December 11, 2017, without anyone having an inkling about it. Everyone was taken by surprise when Virat and Anushka posted their first wedding pictures on their social media handles and proclaimed to the world that they are now husband and wife. They had a fairytale magical wedding in Tuscany, Italy and the entire nation went gaga over their serene looks from the wedding.

Now, in an interview given to a leading entertainment magazine Anushka revealed that their wedding was so hush-hush that they even used fake names to talk to their caterers. Apparently, Virat’s fake name had an SRK connect to it. We wonder whether it was because he was Anushka’s first hero or is it because it is a common name. She said, “We wanted to have a home-style wedding. There were only 42 people there, with all our friends and family present. I wanted it to be about Virat and me marrying each other, and not this big celebrity wedding. The energy at our wedding was blessed. We even used fake names while talking to the caterer; I think Virat’s was Rahul.”
