RAW Trailer: John Abraham presents a story of ‘sacrifice, patriotism and undying love for the country’

The trailer of John Abraham’s new film Romeo, Akbar, Walter (RAW) dropped online on Monday. John, as described in the trailer of the film, is a spy and a hero – he has many faces but his mission is to protect the country. Based on true events, RAW is set in 1971 as the trailer begins with Jackie Shroff’s character briefing John about a mission that he must sign up for in order to serve his country.

It appears that John works for the intelligence agency in India and reports to Jackie Shroff. Ahead of a war-like situation with Pakistan, John is sent on an undercover mission as a spy to pass off information to India. “Main tumhe ek aise performance ke liye taiyyar karna chata hoon jisse Hindustan ka aane waala kal badal sakta hai. I want you to serve your country,” John is told by the senior actor in the trailer.
