After Manikarnika, I'm keen on making a trilogy on women warriors like Jija Bai, Razia Sultan: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is riding high on the success of her last film Manikarnika: the Queen of Jhansi which she starred in and co-directed as well. Today, at an event in Delhi the actress brought her unapologetic self to the fore and spoke about her famous war of words with Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan. She also revealed that she has been unlucky in love but has a romantic side to her. She also confessed that she is no more single and is in a relationship right now.

Kangana also spoke about plans of her forthcoming projects. She said that she wants to make a trilogy of sorts on Indian women warriors. Talking about her plans she said, “I am also toying with the idea of a trilogy of women warriors, so Manikarnika can be one part, and there are so many. Like there is Durgawati, there is Razia Sultan, there is Jija Bai, there are so many of them, so we are thinking of maybe taking that trilogy forward.”

She was also asked about her biopic which is supposedly in the works and the actress will star and direct. Talking about her biopic she said, “My biopic will give me a chance to look at my life objectively. It is not an expose of people in the industry. All the episodes will be there. It is on my struggle, which is an unusual one."

Now, that’s some news no? We hope Kangana does manage to make that trilogy on women warriors and we get to see some great names and their lives being depicted on the big screen.
