Indian audiences love to see their favourite jodis onscreen in films irrespective of how many times they come together. We’ve had awards reinstated for favourite jodis as well, so it is no big news that everybody gets a high when they see their old favourites reuniting back on the big screen. After teasing fans with the talks of their reunion in Anurag Kashyap’s production Gulab Jamun, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan chose to forego the film.
However, now the latest buzz is that the real-life couple is planning to come together in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Bhansali is keen to depict the love that bonded acclaimed poet Sahir Ludhianvi and author Amrita Pritam. After the names of several actors did the rounds for the project, a trade website has now reported that Aishwarya and Abhishek are teaming up with Bhansali for the film.

Ludhianvi was a renowned lyricist-poet who is known for his profound lyrics, poems and literature as well as for his undying love for the acclaimed Punjabi author Amrita Pritam. If Abhishek and Aishwarya team up for the film it will be their ninth collaboration together and will be sharing screen space after Mani Ratnam’s Raavan which released in 2010.

We hope this speculation comes out to be true and we get to see the magic of Bhansali, Abhishek and Aishwarya on the big screen.
