With Total Dhamaal inching close to 100 crore mark, here's what Madhuri Dixit has to say about the importance of box office

Madhuri Dixit Nene, fresh out of the promotional drill of her latest release Total Dhamaal, is currently enjoying the success of the comedy-drama. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is a multi starrer with an ensemble cast like Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Sanjay Mishra. Recently, PeepingMoon.com had a chat with the leading lady of the film and here's what she shared with us.

On being asked if 100 crore films have any recall value in comparison to the films in the 90s', the actress had a thoughtful insight to share. "It's wonderful when people tell that ‘Oh we loved your film. We enjoyed it.’ But I don’t agree that films today aren’t good. They are making good films today whether they are blockbusters. You want blockbusters to be a part of the industry because when the film is a blockbuster, it gives rise to another film. So, we have seen some very good films on a very large scale or on a very small scale like Badhaai Ho, AndhaDhun etc. which did very well," elaborated one of the biggest superstar os the 90's era.
