The February 14 terror attack by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, in which at least 49 CRPF troopers lost their lives, left the entire nation dismayed with politicians and Bollywood celebrities expressing their solidarity with the bereaved families.
Now as we all pray for the brave martyrs who lost their lives, the film wing of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has asked music companies to completely stop working with Pakistani singers. "We have verbally communicated to Indian music companies like T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers. These companies should stop it immediately or we will take action in our own style," Amey Khopkar, head of the MNS Chitrapat Sena told a leading news agency.
Meanwhile, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series recently collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for two different singles. However post the attack, Atif's song was unlisted from Youtube. The head of the MNS Chitrapat Sena further claimed that it was MNS who got it done.
Not to forget, after the Uri attacks in 2016, the party had similarly set a 48-hour deadline for all Pakistani artists, working in India at that time, to leave the country.
