Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor were present at a puja performed for their mother, veteran actress Sridevi at her maternal residence in Chennai on February 14 ahead of her death anniversary. Pictures of Janhvi and Khushi performing rituals at the puja are being circulated across the internet while fans remembered their mother and wrote in memory of the veteran actress on social media.
Sridevi’s husband, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and brother-in-law, actor Anil Kapoor were also there. See pictures of Janhvi and Khushi.

The puja was held in the presence of close friends and family at Sridevi's Mylapore bungalow. Actor Ajith Kumar and his wife, English Vinglish director Gauri Shinde, and filmmaker R. Balki were also among the attendees.
Sridevi, Bollywood's first female superstar, died on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. She was 54. Her sudden death left the universe in a state of shock as millions paid tribute to her as she was cremated with state honours in Mumbai.

Apart from Hindi films, Sridevi has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies. Chandni, Mr. India, Sadma, Lamhe, ChaalBaaz, English Vinglish and MOM, are some of her iconic films.
As for Janhvi Kapoor, she made her debut in Bollywood with Dhadak in 2018. Karan Johar’s Takht and the Gunjan Saxena biopic are her upcoming films.
