Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga screenplay to be a part of Oscars library

Sonam Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has been reaping accolades because of its concept. Although the film is not having a great run at the box office it is surely getting critical acclaim and applause for the lead actors for taking on a bold and taboo subject. Now, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has requested the makers for a copy of the film’s screenplay for the permanent Core Collection.

The films that are kept in the Core Collection are made available for study only in the reading room and The Academy’s library prohibits copying and circulation of scripts. However, the library is a research library freely open to all students, filmmakers, and writers as well as those with general interests. Previously, two film scripts of VVC have also been sent to The Academy. VVC Films had sent them copies of Broken Horses and Sanju.
