Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s body of work has a strange arc indeed. He started off with small bit roles, and then went on to get his big break in an ensemble star cast film. He then proceeded to play supporting actor roles opposite the Khans, played single hero in biopics and now is going to play romantic leads opposite the leading ladies of Bollywood. After playing serious characters in Thackeray and Manto he is now all set to feature in a romantic film titled Bole Chudiyan.
The film is the directorial debut of Nawazuddin’s brother, Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. A leading daily reported that Shraddha Kapoor has been approached to play the female lead opposite Nawazuddin in the film. The daily reported a source saying that the actress who is keen to explore a variety of roles and genres has liked the script but has not given her nod to the project as yet.

Shraddha has a bevy of plump projects in her kitty and is riding high on the success of her last release horror-comedy Stree. Talking about the film, Nawazuddin had earlier said, “It’s an exciting phase for me, as our cinema and the audience are evolving. I look forward to roles and characters that challenge me and I can dig deep into. Bole Chudiyan is one such script, it is a passionate romantic drama.” Nawazuddin will also be seen in another romantic comedy titled Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Athiya Shetty.
