Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Singh Dhoni have something in common. The bond between the ladies is dated back to the time when Anushka’s and Sakshi’s families resided in a small town in Assam. And now, years later, the childhood pictures of the wives of cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli have surfaced across the media.
Anushka married current Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli in 2017 in a private function in Italy while Sakshi tied the knot with her childhood friend and former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2010 and are parents to a baby girl Ziva Singh Dhoni.

In one of the viral pictures, Anushka can be seen dressed in a dark pink ghagra whereas Sakshi is dressed as a fairy. In another snap, Anushka and Sakshi are seen with the former’s brother Karnesh Sharma. The schoolday picture of them will definitely make you search for your annual class group photo for sure!

The history behind these pictures is that Mrs. Kohli and Mrs. Dhoni studied in St Mary's School, Margherita.
Back in 2013, Anushka revealed to a daily that only after a conversation with Sakshi, she realized that they belong to the same town and same school. "Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too... And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I'm dressed in a ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny," Anushka told the daily.
