Sonam Kapoor’s and Anil Kapoor’s film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga released today and it can very well be called the day of the father-daughter duo because the film has been well received by the critics and the audience too. Sharing the screen-space for the first time Anil and Sonam have brought forward a film that will definitely give them a place in the annals of Hindi cinema. Today, the 62-year-old actor shared a heartwarming message for his daughter on his Instagram.
He shared a collage of pictures from Sonam’s childhood and his younger days superimposed on his still from the film and captioned it as, “Never have I been so proud of you @sonamkapoor. It has been my honour sharing the screen with you beta. Today we hand over our labour of love #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga over to you.. our audience.” Anil plays Sonam’s father in the film.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and stars Juhi Chawla, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Duhan and Regina Cassandra as well. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra the film gets its title from Anil and Manisha Koirala starrer 1942: A Love Story that was also directed by the former.
