Leave her alone: Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel slams Krish on Manikarnika row

Rangoli Chandel has defended her sister Kangana Ranaut after filmmaker Krish’s comments over the actress taking credits as the primary director of her new film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Kangana, who plays the titular role in the film, stepped into Krish’s shoes as the director after he departed the project due to what has been blamed on scheduling conflicts and creative differences.

During his interview with a leading entertainment website, Krish said that, “20-25% in the first half of Manikarnika, has been shot by Kangana while in the second half, only 10% was shot by her.” Responding to his comment, Rangoli posted an unsparing tweet, in which she asked Krish to leave Kangana “alone,” adding that the actress is the “leading face of the film” and deserves to enjoy the accolades that Manikarnika is receiving at the moment.

Krish has been addressing his ‘creative differences’ with Kangana after Manikarnika’s release and also told a leading entertainment portal on Sunday that his version of the film was met with displeasure by Zee Studios, who has invested in the project as well. Kangana also behaved “rudely” with him, is what Krish claimed.
