With AbRam around, it will be difficult for SRK to venture into direction; let him explain

Shah Rukh Khan said that it is difficult for him to venture into direction, not only because he considers it to be a “lonely job” but also owing to his responsibilities as a father, he said while speaking to a leading daily. During his interview, SRK explained that in order to get into direction, he will end up locking himself in a room for two years and with his five-year-old son AbRam being around, it wouldn’t be a “good thing” to do currently.

“I’ve a little one right now. So, if I became a director, I would be locked in a room for two years, which is not a good thing to do at present. Sitting with AbRam and trying to write a story will be impossible. I don’t want to miss out on his growing up years,” SRK told the daily.

Moreover, SRK also spoke at length as to why directing could be a difficult job for him. “It’s difficult for me to get into direction. I can imagine what the story is going to be like. However, I don’t ‘really know’ it. I believe that if you are going to helm a film then you should be aware of the plot. You’ve to be able to say confidently ‘this is what my story is’. My thing is I’m assuming the possibilities. But sometimes, I haven’t tied up all the loose ends,” SRK added.

Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018.
