I wish I hadn’t done Shaandaar and Chup Chup Ke: Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor has had a checkered Bollywood career. He has had stupendous hits and abysmal flops in his film career. The actor is well known for essaying complex characters in Haider and Kaminey and also has received backlash for films like Shaandaar, Milenge Milenge and Wah! Life Ho To Aisi which came to a cropper at the box office. In a recent interview given to an entertainment show, the actors spoke about the films that he thinks he should have given a pass and not taken up to star in.

When Shahid was asked which films from his repertoire he shouldn’t have done, he said, “Shaandaar being the first in that list. Chup Chup Ke maybe I wouldn’t want to do and maybe Waah! Life Ho To Aisi-because I think it was trying to be an international film and we didn’t have the kind of expertise to do that kind of computer graphics."

Shaandaar was directed by Vikas Bahl and also had Alia Bhatt as the lead. The film was a family affair for Shahid as well as his father Pankaj Kapur and half-sister Sanah Kapoor also starred in the film with pivotal roles. The film’s songs were a hit but the film was a super flop at the box office and gave a beating to Shahid’s reputation as well.
