During an interview, when she was quizzed about Aanand L Rai's latest film, Zero and if she has watched it, Ranaut said, I have been too busy with Manikarnika to attend any of the trials of Zero but Aanandji is coming for a show of our film." "We will be announcing Tanu Weds Manu 3 soon," she added further. Now that's an announcement that we have been waiting to hear since a very long time. After all, who wouldn't want to see Tanu and Manu again?

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Tanu Weds Manu was released in 2011 which had Kangana and R Madhavan in lead roles. In 2015, Anand came up with a sequel of the film named Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
