Krish Jagarlamudi, the co-director of Kangana Ranaut's film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has landed himself in some trouble. Apparently, the director has been allegedly accused of ‘stealing’ Teja’s script for the Telugu film, NTR Kathanayakudu which released recently. Krish had left Kangana’s film midway as he wanted to take up the direction of the NTR biopic.
Following his exit, Kangana had to rake up the reins of direction as well. This accusation has left the actress highly amused. After leaving Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kish replaced Teja as director of the NTR biopic. The film stars Vidya Balan and Balakrishna in the lead roles. A leading daily reported that Kangana has been heard saying that it is the classic case of out of the frying pan into the fire for Krish.

Krish’s exit from Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi raised a lot of questions and when Kangana took up the mantle of direction many raised questions and pointed fingers at the actress. Some even went on to badmouth the actress and say that she is trying to usurp the credit for the film’s direction and Krish’s exit was because he was miffed with the actress.
However, the makers of the film Kamal Jain, Nishant Pitti, Zee Studios and scriptwriter Vijeyendra Prasad defended Kangana and dispelled all the rumours of any animosity between the director and the actress. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi also stars Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta, Suresh Oberoi and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. The film is slated to release on January 25 and is based on the inspiring story of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi.
