If there is a need, I will go bald for Bala: Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana has truly arrived in Bollywood after giving two back-to-back hits in 2018 with AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho. From playing a blind pianist to a 25-year-old young man coming to terms with his parents’ middle-aged pregnancy the actor handled both the roles with aplomb. He is all geared up for his next film opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala is a film that will see Ayushmann play a prematurely balding man.

The film is supposed to go on floors in March, but the media is abuzz with reports that Ayushmann will shave his head for the role. Talking about the same to a leading tabloid, Ayushmann said, “If there is a need (to go bald), I will go for it. Physical transformation is imperative for any character that you play on screen. On my part, there will be no hiccups.”
