Akshaye Khanna wants to keep his personal life private; Don't want to share it with anyone, he says

You don't see much of Akshaye Khanna - neither in films nor on social media. And the reason behind it is simple - Akshaye doesn't like "sharing his life with anyone," as told by him during his interview with a leading daily ahead of the release of his new film The Accidental Prime Minister.

"I don't want to share my life with anyone, I would like to keep it mine. Neither do I have the desire to share anyone's else life. Many of my friends can't be alone for even a few hours," Akshaye told the daily.

During his interview, Akshaye also said that it's okay to have people around but he isn't as bothered about it. His friends, in fact, often ask him about his inclination towards spending time with himself but that is what the 43-year-old actor prefers doing.

"It's normal to want to have people around but it doesn't bother me. People ask me how I can you spend so much time by myself. I tell them, "I can spend much more time alone, now go," Akshaye added.

Akshaye, son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna and his late, former wife Gitanjali, made his debut in Bollywood with Himalay Putra in 1997. He also starred in the films Border, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, Taal, Dil Chahta Hai and Humraaz. After 2012's Gali Gali Chor Hai, Akshaye makes sporadic appearances on screen such as in 2016's Dishoom; Mom and Ittefaq in 2017 and will appear next in The Accidental Prime Minister.
