Sunny Deol is handling his son Karan Deol's debut by directing him in his film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The film is being produced under Sunny's father, veteran actor Dharmendra's banner Vijayta Films. Shimla-based Saher Bamba has been cast opposite Karan in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas while reports suggest that over 400 women auditioned for the role following which Saher was finalised for the film.

Tiger Shroff co-stars in the film, which is being directed by Punit Malhotra. Ananya is Chunky Panday’s daughter while Tara, on the other hand, is also known for her appearance in the Disney shows The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie. Apart from Student Of The Year 2, Tara will also appear in Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan.

Alaia will make her debut in Bollywood with Jawani Janeman - to be produced by Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film narrates the story of a father's relationship with his daughter. In order to prepare for the role, Alaia is reported to have participated in several acting workshops as well.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has taken up the onus of launching his niece Sharmin Segal in his next film - Sharmin is Bhansali's sister Bela Segal’s daughter. Sharmin pursued her course in acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles and later, worked as an assistant director on the films Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani. The film will cast Jaaved Jaaferi's son Mizaan opposite Sharmin. Mizaan has also studied acting from a New York-based institute while he also assisted Bhansali during the shoot of Padmaavat.
