Suhel Seth, who was accused of sexual harassment by several women in November in the wake of the #MeToo movement in India, married girlfriend Lakshmi Menon at his Gurugram residence on December 25, a leading daily reports. The wedding was a private ceremony, held in the presence of close friends and family.
Politicians including Praful Patel, Jay Panda and Amar Singh, filmmaker and fashion designer Muzaffar Ali, Tasneem and Vikram Mehta, Tarun Tejpal, and former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit, were invited as well.

Suhel's mother, as well as Lakshmi's parents, were present while an invitee told the daily that it was a memorable ceremony. "It was a quiet, genteel affair, and the guests were people who are close to Suhel and who he counts as friends," an invitee was quoted as saying by the daily.
Lakshmi Menon has appeared in several photoshoots for Indian as well as international magazines.

As far as Suhel Seth is concerned, he was dropped as a consultant with Tata Sons as the company has decided to terminate his services after he was accused of sexual harassment. In October, two women claimed that Seth had behaved inappropriately with them as he allegedly “forcibly groped and kissed” them. Subsequently, several others also levelled charges of sexual harassment against him as did writer Ira Trivedi and model Diandra Soares.
