Shelly Chopra Dhar's upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla released its trailer today. The film slated to release on February 1, 2019, showcases a love of its own kind.
Love stories are of huge interest amongst the Indian audience but this one is quite unique and out of the box as it brings to us the concept of 'Let Love Be'. The trailer of the film is not only heart touching but also brings back the old world charm of romance. It also stays relevant to the current times and reminds us to not be judgemental and accept other's choices.

The trailer features Sonam's life story which we think revolves around her love for Rajkummar Rao until she opens up about her true choice in life. It starts with Sonam dreaming about her own fairytale like love story and how even she'll fall in love with someone one day and have a magical love story. But soon comes a point where her family misunderstands her 'friendship' with Rajkummar as 'love' and decides to get them married. That's when Sonam makes a revelation about her preference in love, leaving her father (played by Anil Kapoor) in a state of shock as he looks down upon her and says, 'I didn't expect this from you'. However, during this emotional encounter, Sonam too doesn't hesitate from giving it back to her dad saying, 'Even I didn't expect this from you'.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga brings to us the much-needed leave story we sure can't afford to miss. This is also the first time in Sonam's 11 years long career that she is sharing the screen space with her real-life father, Anil Kapoor.
