Filmmaker Karan Johar has frequently expressed his interest in handling Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan’s debut in the film industry while the actor is of the opinion that it is “very sweet” of his friends from the fraternity to consider launching Aryan.
“It’s very sweet of them (his industry friends), and they have the right. If Aryan decides to be an actor, it will only be an honour for him to work with directors of that calibre,” SRK said while speaking to a leading daily.

However, SRK, during his interview, revealed that Aryan aspires to become a filmmaker while his daughter Suhana is inclined acting in films. And for Aryan to make a film as well, SRK said, he is required to complete his education first and must also assist KJo on his films after finishing his course.

“But I think he wants to be a filmmaker. Aryan is studying to be a filmmaker and a writer, while Suhana wants to be an actor. But, even if he wants to be a filmmaker, he needs to study for another five to six years and not just the literal form of studying, but probably be an assistant to Karan after he finishes his filmmaking course,” SRK added.
In fact, his children are required to master the craft of filmmaking before making a career in it, SRK said, adding that he isn’t in favour of the fact that Aryan and Suhana get an undue advantage of his stardom.
“Aisa nahi hai ki tumhara baap actor hai toh set pe aake assistant director ban jao. Similarly, Suhana should learn acting for another three to four years if she wants to be an actor. I know many of my industry friends feel my kids should start acting tomorrow. But it’ my belief that they shouldn’t start acting yet,” SRK added.
