Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have not been on a good footing ever since Ranbir Kapoor broke up with Deepika and started dating Katrina. Their equation became even sour when Ranbir started working with Deepika in Tamasha, a fact that Katrina wasn't comfortable with. Interestingly, when Katrina was asked how she liked Deepika’s and Ranbir’s performance in Tamasha, she only said, “Ranbir was outstanding in the film.” She even gave Tamasha’s success bash a miss.
The two leading ladies shared cold vibes and were never on the best of terms with each other. Recently, on a show when Deepika was quizzed if she would invite Katrina to her wedding, she blatantly said ‘No’. While none of the celebrities were invited to Deepika's and Ranveer’s wedding in Italy, their Bollywood friends were seen in attendance at their wedding reception in Mumbai, which Katrina attended as well.

This may have come as a surprise to many, however, one learns that it was Ranveer who cordially invited Katrina over a phone call to attend their wedding reception on December 1. As they say that there are no permanent friends or foe in teh Bollywood industry, Deepika has extended an olive branch to Katrina and has now started following her on Instagram. Not just this, Deepika also liked a number of Katrina's recent pictures on the platform.

Well, it is never too late to extend a hand of friendship. Deepika has done her bit, now we are waiting for Katrina to make her move and reciprocate the friendship after all, Ranbir is no longer a part of their lives anymore.
